Unpacking guide

Thank you for your purchase! We're excited for you to receive your order. Here's a guide for what to do once your plant arrives:

1. Check the Box: Before opening, note the condition of the box. If it's damaged upon arrival, take a photo for proof. You may need this for a claim with DPD in case of shipping damages.

2. Unpack with Care: Take your time unpacking your plant(s) and products. Each plant is carefully packed to ensure safe arrival. Avoid rushing and be mindful of the tape to prevent any damage to the leaves.

3. Inspect for Damage: After unpacking, carefully inspect your plant(s) for any signs of damage, such as broken stems or ripped leaves. Some yellowing or wilting may occur during transit due to shipping stress, which is normal.

4. Report Issues: If your plant is broken or arrives in poor condition, please email us within 12 hours of delivery with photos. We'll do our best to assist you with the issue. Contact us at contact@plantswithbenefits.shop.

5. Note on Damage: While we take every precaution to pack your order securely, damages can occur during transit, especially with live plants. Some plants may experience stress during shipping, particularly in extreme temperatures. Always consider the weather forecast when placing your order.
Colder weather? Add a heatpack. 

6. After Unboxing:
- Avoid repotting your plant immediately to prevent unnecessary damage.
- Allow your plants to rest for a few days and acclimate to their new environment.
- Place them in a bright spot or under a grow light for optimal growth.

7. Watering Instructions:
- If the potting mix looks dry and your plant appears wilted, water it to revive it. The plant should perk up in a few hours.
- If the potting mix is already wet, wait a few days until it dries out before watering again. Overwatering can lead to root rot and harm your plants.

8. Damaged Accessories: If your plant accessories arrive damaged, email us within 12 hours of delivery with photos, and we'll assist you promptly.
